Alloa single grain from Strathmore Distillery, a part of North of Scotland distillery Limited edition of 180 bottles – 42,5% - 40y distilled July 1964 - bottled Febr. 2005 single grain from a long gone distillery (opened in 1957, operated until 1980 and demolished in 1993) The 1964 Distillation is rich, smooth, and perhaps even slightly oily, with plenty malt and just a trace of vanilla. This is a one off single grain that will never be repeated.

Port Dundas, distilled 1992 - 21y - 55,7% from a single refill hogshead - hh 9452, bottled by Hunter Hamilton for their 'the Clan Denny' range This is bottled at cask strength 55,7% and is a nice way to taste a single grain from this closed distillery scores: whiskybase – 88/28 malt maniacs – no score serge valentin - no score some of my friends are realy enthousiastic about this bottle, but i am not as convinced as they are. It is a bit musty, you have to work.
